Is it a pretentious thing? Does it give you a sense of superiority that you listen to music that's not mainstream or popular?

If you ever get your hands on a leaks/snippets/unreleased etc...do you actively choose not to share it or play it around a friend or two? If it's in CDQ ofc, if it's potato quality, I understand.

I gate keep from my friends because before I did, I would put them on to artists and they would say theyre trash. Then later down the line, I hear them bumping them

also I listen to trash like 100 gecs and bladee. Theyre more of a R&b and lil baby type music
