yahoo.com/money/workers-are-quitting-at-historic-rates-180539760.html
Was reading this article, randomly showed up on my twitter feed and it got me thinking.
See so many people on this site talk about hating the idea of a 9-5 type job, or not settling for just desk jobs.
So I’m wondering, how many of y’all have quit your potential plush jobs to pursue either a passion or maybe a better spot for your mental health (in theory)?
How has it ended up?

Damn teachers are not valued in the US at all

Me.
I've been working a low paying IT job (in exchange they offer a lot of tools for development n growth) but my contract ends in august and I already told em I'm good, miss me with an extension. I don't have anything that guarantees living wages lined up from september, except for some government payments, but I figure I'm good for about 3 months off of that at least.
I've started practicing dj'ing and I'm just focused on tryna do that after the summer. I also linked up with a creative company to help out at events & parties they do, which provides me with access to a lot of other creatives and dj's in particular.
I just had somewhat of an awakening last year which lead me to realise that 'jobs' as we know em deplete your Spirit, and that you're much better of taking a leap of faith with something creative. Fear is an illusion, and so is 'making it'. Just do what you love, rather than falling into the trap of the system that society perpetuates. The cliché of doing what makes you happy is a simple truth we all so conveniently ignore.

Good luck man, takes a lot to do a leap of faith with no guarantees on the other side
Try to get stuff lined up on the side though or plan out the next months financially so you’re not stressed stressed if s*** gets tight

Most public school teachers are basically babysitters.
Don’t think I ever would. Way to scared of doing it and failing.
Respect the honesty

I’d rather deal with hyperactive Gen Z kids than deal with the Jock/nerd dynamic of the 90s and early 2000s
@GorillaGlue quit his job and moved to Cali to meet Kanye one time
