Ok fine. So appalled has a very swizz beats esque beat. Immediately reminds me of 2010s HOV. He's even featured on the record so might be inspired by him

I do wish the album was mixed cleaner but I think a polished up So Appalled would still sound good

I agree the whole albums mixing is terrible, Super compressed, Muddy and lacks the crisp high end you’d hear on more modern stuff

But the actual production is still great. Amazing samples and musical breakdowns

Would love to hear someone reproduce the instrumentals and have them actually mixed well. Ye really missed the chance to drop a remastered 10th anniversary version

I don’t get how runaway would sound “dated.” That’s the funniest take in this thread. The production is very minimal and blends well across a lot of different genres, not just hip hop. That song is probably the strongest case the album is not dated.
