CodyI wanna get lasik but I dont think I could deal with the things holding my eyelids open
I’ve always had a phobia of touching my eye so I was pretty nervous tbh. It’s fairly uncomfortable ngl but the entire procedure lasted like 5 minutes. The worst part is when they press down on your eye with a lot of pressure when they’re applying the suction cups, your vision blacks out and all you see is the laser. It goes so quick tho, just take some deep breaths and you’ll be fine.
The hours afterwards are pretty painful, your eyes are burning until you fall asleep. But once you sleep a few hours you’ll wake up and the pain is gone.

It’s not a good time but it’s not horrible either lol. If I had to do it all again I would, it’s worth it for perfect vision.

Tech has a problem when it comes to employing poc, black people in particular. A lot of companies have acknowledged this and even post quarterly figures for who they interviewed, hired, and the change percentage from previous years or quarters.

They aren't a scam. You can build credit score while getting cash back (my card has 5% on certain things) and various benefits.
Irresponsibly spending money that you don't have isn't a scam; it's stupidity
