For me,

Make everyone get tested. Once a month is good enough

Immediately shut down the country similar to Italy and New Zealand earlier this year.

Don't open anything until the numbers actually start going back down, not UP

Since stores would still need to be open, social distancing and very small capacity, one way operation (like they attempted earlier this year)

Find a way to provide all students with computers and the essentials so school could resume without any kids missing out.

This is from the top of my head. We could have been like New Zealand and conquered this panoramic months ago, or at least started a decline then. But here we are.

Yeah, s***'s sucked forever, There has always been corruption. But you're trying to boil a very complex issue down to its products when it's a larger problem of culture.

The way our politicians and the methods by which they stir up support have divided this country, you can't even talk to anybody anymore. Once it becomes obvious that either side has an agenda, it's over. Twitter and Reddit is swarming with bots who won't engage with discussion when you reach out to them and liberals are straight up traumatized. Everyone just stays in their bubble.

When I was growing up during the Clinton and Bush administrations, I remember reading lots of discussion between democrats and republicans about topics they cared about. Pages and pages of back and forth and it was that way in person too. Families would argue at the dinner table, but at least they talked. Presidents had bad intentions then too, but they weren't actively provoking hate groups in speeches and encouraging violence with racist dog whistles the way they are now.

It's absolutely shameful being American thanks to Trump. Our federal government took all kinds of imperialist and racist actions before, but there's no us vs. them anymore because 30% of the country has sold out to a cult. It's hard to tell who to trust anymore because at any moment they might whip out a slogan or talking point that comes straight from the mouth of a hateful piece of s*** racist.

It's gonna take generations to recover culturally from the last 4 years and the earth's climate probably never will. So yeah, s*** changed.

President never changed my life directly. But a lot of my homies got held up when he did the travel ban
