just turned 19 a little over a month ago, 12k all thru working and saving as much as i can. slowly and slowly putting that 12k into very long term investments

Question for everyone in their early 20s saying they got 60k saved already. How? Did you not go to college and just work? Did you graduate early and get a good paying job? I’m 22 and probably won’t having anything near that saved until I’m like 26

I've saved up about 30k over the past 18 months from working part time while still being in University but I do live at home for now
its been a great time to save with COVID, cause my job hasn't been affected (if anything its been more hours), and while cases have been effectively zero with a case every few weeks/months for about 6 months now, the 6 months before that I barely spent money cause of COVID cases
