A study was done ~15 years that found happiness generally didn't increase past 70k per year (all your basic financial needs are met). Recently, studies have found that number to be closer to 120k per year.

that's true for a lot of people if you go from like 20k a year to 400k but at some point your just kinda an insane a****** if your just blowing millions a year imo

like the more money it becomes the harder it becomes to spend unless your just trying to fly private and buy some huge yacht

also some people don't like to spend, plenty of millionaires have one house and no boat and s***

Not hard to spend a milli in a year

  • $1

ill grind my way up im built different 💯💯

  • Mar 14, 2022

I really think all u need is 3-4 mil to never work again as long as you live like a normal human being

    Fair even then though

People can live off 400k after they pay off their homes.

So I'd say 3 million would be enough for anyone if they lived reasonably.

For me to be perfectly happy, 10 million. I could buy a couple luxury cars, 1 really nice home. Couple vacations a year and kids colleges paid for.

10 mill would easily be enough. All my biggest material items would add up to like 1-2 million.

I don’t think I’d want to stop working tbh.
Not about chasing more money either. But if i got a big payout id shift into something even more enjoyable and just work less.

I like working, and the balance it brings to life.

I wouldn't stop working either but I wouldn't work on things I didn't want to just for money
