All his albums have heavy Religious influence gkmc with the jesus intro and tpab with how much a dollar cost and the lucy story DAMN. literally has a song named GOD I think since this new trend of Spirituality and Kanye being bold af with Jesus Is King he's trying to perfect an album about God without it being too heavy handed

I think theres the same amount of pressure as always. He has given himself a high standard of quality albums so its not about when he drops. That expectation will always be there

If anything, the standard for mainstream rap albums have further lowered since 2017, so he dont have to drop a TPAB-style album. Although it would be nice if he topped that

i cant see him dropping something not universally loved or critically acclaimed.

I don't think he will ever have a bad album

The people have higher expectations for Kendrick because he hasn’t dropped mid every year like some other rappers. We’re expecting a 10/10 album like TPAB but I’d still be happy if it was on the level of DAMN. Either way that would be his fourth classic.
