we are what we think. start being very mindful of your thoughts and become your own hype man. any time you find yourself thinking negative thoughts, try your hardest to challenge and defeat them
I need to master this skill
I tend to overthink a lot about my future to the point where it makes me anxious
This
Also teaches you to speak loud and clear
Or try the opposite. Cut down on the bullshit. Don't let other's bullshit affect you.
Realize and be cool with the fact that it is something of charm to have nothing to say.
Fake it till u make it
Don't complain and show weakness infront of peers. Take s*** as it comes
Keep your feelings to yourself and only express them vaguely

Eh this is kind of vague and veering a little to close to toxic masculinity to me
Go to therapy, work on loving yourself and putting yourself first
I don't think anyone needs to go to therapy in order to build up confidence, which usually just takes practice.
I also found drinking a little every time you go out to socialise helpful
Like 1-2 shots of vodka
But that’s not really a good advice
You’re not going to tough love yourself into having self-esteem, calling yourself a b**** or whatever. You have to gas yourself up a little, haha
how are you able to confidently play a game without having to relearn mechanics? how do you become confident enough to take a test without worrying? how do you stroll into work every day and confidently know that you're doing your job correctly without asking your supervisor?
it's experience and practice. you need to actually be social and talk to others in order to become socially confident. you need to challenge yourself frequently to have confidence in yourself. keep doing it, and you'll gradually become innately confident.

I agree except I believe a confident person expresses their feelings firmly and maturely, but not disrespectfully.

it's not depressing, it's freeing
man so funny seeing a carles/hro fan on ktt2 ngl i miss him everyday

What happened to this bro? Is he not alt anymore? Is he dead? Did he smoke too much medical marijuana? Did he inhale? Can you die from medical marijuana? Is there life after death?
fake it till you make it
This is pretty much the only solution
Confidence and leadership aren’t genetic but they aren’t learned
You either have it or you don’t. If you don’t, then boom you fake it till you make no other way
Good advice in here, especially the people saying experience. What I'd like to add is that you shouldn't put yourself down for feeling anxious or self conscious. Anxiety is an emotion like any other, you don't try to avoid feeling happy/sad/angry. Its pointless to try to eliminate anxiety completely, confidence is just acting in spite of your anxiety and overcoming it. So don't feel bad for experiencing anxiety and doubt, its a vicious cycle
