He is f***ing up with the album title. This s*** ain’t gonna sell or be talked about for more than a week
will prolly have some huge hits
Did anyone actually read the article? This sounds interesting to me.
I hear a track where Wayne deftly mimics the cadence of Biggie’s “One More Chance” and Tupac’s “Hit ’Em Up.” (As of press time, only one song I hear has an official title.) Another track is an ode to “cruising through L.A.,” featuring a shout-out to the late Matthew Perry. (Wayne laughingly tells me afterward that he didn’t know Perry and only added him after researching a name that would fit the syllable space.)
Wayne says he focused on collaborations on Tha Carter VI. “If there’s one thing about this album that’s different, it’s me approaching it like, ‘Man, what would I sound like on something with such and such?’ ” Miley Cyrus makes an appearance, and Wayne recorded a track featuring an uncleared Billie Eilish sample, but the most unexpected guest I hear is Italian opera star Andrea Bocelli, who sings “Ave Maria” on another track. Wyclef flew to Italy to ask Bocelli’s permission to sample the song, and ended up telling Bocelli the story of Wayne surviving a self-inflicted gunshot at 12. The tenor was so moved that he decided to sing the opera standard himself. “It’s one of them records that I feel is going to stop time,” Wyclef says.

Of course not.
if he can pull these features off and make a good album we need to start crowning him as the goat cus ain’t no way in hell
will prolly have some huge hits
I hope so. Love new Wayne but I have some doubts
I just wish Wayne could just put out a strong hip hop album.
Limited features(from modern rappers). Lot of "dusty" soul sample beats. And rapping about some introspective s*** while balancing out with some fun braggadocio records.
He's been aimless since C5. And even C5 suffered from some bloat despite being one of his better albums.

Yea ionno why all these mainstream guys at 40 years old are still tryna make hits and pop songs instead of just playing to their strengths. You have all the releases to make unique pieces of work
was just thinking about the weezy x wheezy promo and wondering where they went with that lol ok
The confirmed feature list makes me think the album will be dead on arrival
Hope I'm proven wrong
He hasn’t released a good project in 15 years, you can already expect the album will be mid.
Of course not.
Album should be good there seens to be a lot of planning into it. C5 was good and Funeral was decent so not worried.
MGK on a 2025 Lil Wayne album makes
more sense than a lot of people will actually say

I remember they made these

half of these are gonna be samples as features
I think Nas will be on the album. They probably did a swap.

Look like ass and a prime reminder that the album will be mid jus like every Wayne album the last 10 years
