Y’all saying “shortages”
But at this point in the life cycle ps5 has already sold more than the ps4 by like 300k
Cross-gen games on ps4 ended about a year in a half in. Honestly I see the same here.
Yes there is a way higher demand, but the player base is growing at a higher rate than the ps4 even with these shortages.
I don’t really seeing affecting the gen overall
Aren’t a large portion of those sales actually just bots/scalpers
Anyways sony announced they’re redesigning it so they can put more out. I’m just gonna wait til then. Hopefully they slim it down too. Ugliest console I’ve ever seen
i feel like this will be the last time consoles come out, at this point just get a gaming computer
This is definitely gonna be the last gen for a long time. Graphics tech has plateaued

Out of the 6+ million of Ps5’s sold
130k were sold by stockx
So a majority are going to consumers

That doesn't mean there all being sold on stockx Im sure there are listings on craigslist, eBay,offer up, Facebook sales group etc...

For sure don’t get me wrong
But I think all in all it would add up to 1-2 million (just me guessing, no numbers around this)
The majority is still going to consumers

Yeah you make a good point tbh

Dang the next gen consoles might come out when I'm in my 40's
And they called me dumb for selling my PS4 pro and scooping the ps5 for a decent price 2 weeks ago lol
See y’all in 2022
wont affect nothing bro
buying s*** early is never a good idea
i pulled out of my pre-order for this reason alone
impulse buying, we dont need that really
PS4 gon hold me off for like 2 more years
Gaming makes 200 billion dollars and it’s probably the #1 source of entertainment now so either way people are going to buy one regardless it’s not really gonna affect them long term
I think we're just gonna be seeing more crossgen games for longer.
And the big system sellers like a hypothetical Uncharted 5 may get internally pushed back
Y’all tripping, it has never been this bad.

everyone could say this UNTIL you’re able to get your hands on one you wouldn’t ever think about going back. For me even with lack of games(happened with ps3 &4) just using it has felt like going from an iphone 6 to iphone 12
i feel like this will be the last time consoles come out, at this point just get a gaming computer
Do gaming computers have controllers and real games?

I still feel like graphics can be better
Do gaming computers have controllers and real games?
ive hooked up my xbox controller to my pc to play everything, cod, halo, battlefield, civ 6, the only games i cant play are ps5 exclusives and some of them are coming to pc down the line
If you actually got time to play Returnal you need to go outside and enjoy nature more
That s*** looks like Anthem DLC
