But at this point in the life cycle ps5 has already sold more than the ps4 by like 300k
Cross-gen games on ps4 ended about a year in a half in. Honestly I see the same here.
Yes there is a way higher demand, but the player base is growing at a higher rate than the ps4 even with these shortages.
I don’t really seeing affecting the gen overall
Aren’t a large portion of those sales actually just bots/scalpers

Anyways sony announced they’re redesigning it so they can put more out. I’m just gonna wait til then. Hopefully they slim it down too. Ugliest console I’ve ever seen

130k were sold by stockx
So a majority are going to consumers

everyone could say this UNTIL you’re able to get your hands on one you wouldn’t ever think about going back. For me even with lack of games(happened with ps3 &4) just using it has felt like going from an iphone 6 to iphone 12

ive hooked up my xbox controller to my pc to play everything, cod, halo, battlefield, civ 6, the only games i cant play are ps5 exclusives and some of them are coming to pc down the line

Yea but at that point the difference is so nominal that most casual console buyers wouldn’t see it as worth the upgrade (maybe not tho cause people buy s*** for hype)
