    F*** man. Really hoping all is well with her. Do you know if she’s in a relatively safe area? Not really sure the scope of what’s going in Kazakhstan.

    shes in the heart of almaty so its not a good sign, but thank you im hoping for the best

    as long as they stay indoors they should be relatively safe, this type of upheaval is unheard of for Kazakhstan so its scary nonetheless

    my gf is kazakh and currently living there - so i have no contact with her anymore since 12hrs now

    the days leading up the blackout i taught her how to use a vpn because they were slowly starting to block wifi and social media services, this solution worked for a while

    now it seems everything is totally offline

    f*** that's awful to hear

    Humans are more depressed now than ever, and I believe the internet plays a part in that. Just look at how destructive social media is to mental health
