    How u do it dawg

Meditate and eventually you will have control over your mind . That’s prolonged, so practice everyday.

For in the moment, you gotta catch yourself before you react, and take 10 deep breathes and relax yourself.

Ask yourself, why am I triggered by this? The answer is then what you need to work on.

asking myself why do I care this much...

telling myself its not going to matter in a week or a month.

Taking three deep breaths and counting to 10 and back to 0.
    Going for a long run.

used to punch closets, doors, walls when I was younger. our apartment door is made out of steel and one time I just punched it hard as f*** when I was 14 and f***ed up my hand. that's when I realized I probably shouldn't punch s*** no mo

then i moved on to buying cheap crap made outta glass or porcelain n smash them up on purpose. breaking things is unironically a very good way of releasing anger.

now im at the point where im totally indifferent to any anger, probably caused by long term bensodiazepine use

Only thing you got control over in life is yourself. Getting angry at a situation is only serves to self harm.

I only really get angry at are peeve type bullshit.
Call pasta by the wrong name and I get heated, granted it's internal and I wont do anything about it but internally I'm fumeing

I’m so calm and actually try to avoid confrontation most times bc I know what gets the ppl around me triggered

But there’s a point at which you get blindsided and not able to “calm down” before reacting

With emotions flaring off reaction, you lose logic. It’s a dark, scary place

I guess the best way would be to not “react” but also... there’s times where you must react. Where’s the balance

Full understanding that anger isn’t going to improve my situation or help me find a solution

I can be angry for a minute or two tops before I move on. Does nothing for me. Same thing goes for being sad and down. It isn’t going to help me so it’s better to move on.

I think that emotional outbursts are childish and people should take more pride in being level headed and in control of themselves.

used to have raging anger issues and it took a while til I finally figured it was rooted in control. I can't control certain outcomes whether its situations or the way ppl act. My anger was a direct reflection of that.

I pretty much took a "it is what it is" approach and kept it moving and now I'm more mellow than I thought I'd ever be

I only get mad when people disrespect my girl or my mom tbh if it has something to do with me I shrug it off

I’m pretty stoic, I almost never get angry to the point where I can’t control it. I also lift, go to Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu bout 6 days a week so I have a lot of outlets for aggression.
