Imagine watching this and Blue Valentine back to back with your GF... oh lord!
Never do that
I watched halfway then said f*** it
The arguments are too real for me like someone’s been hearing the s***
Guess a lot of people go thru the same stuff
MAN

“Blue Valentine” is actually a masterpiece. Way more honest and raw than this (don’t get me wrong, I do like this film). But Cianfrance was on another level when he directed him. He actually wrote 60/70 drafts of the screenplay because he wanted to get it right.

I wasn’t comparing the movies like that bro.
I’m just saying watching these two films back to back would be hard on any relationship
this was a great watch. especially if you've been in a real relationship
definitely getting overhated
Bro this is exactly how I felt watching this. JDW killed this though. Zendaya was average
This sounds f***ing awful based on the reviews but I like movies where two people yell at each other in a room so maybe I'll like it

that's literally all it is so sounds up your alley. I liked it too

I was going to watch it last night but it got too late for a nearly 2 hour movie so I watched Lovers Rock instead (which was good). I'll check it out soon.
I thought this was great.
People try to act like Zendaya and JDW arent good actors but this proves that sentiment wrong.
🏌️♂️ exactly
This deserves to be the 666th post
Can someone elaborate on this point for me? From what I gather some of the... more I guess woke Twitter crowd had this criticism. That Sam is portraying what he thinks black creatives deal with when it comes to white people, but apparently he was wrong? What exactly was he wrong about? I felt like Malcolm’s point of view about a creative and the white gaze of acceptance, and/or how they interpret art from a black creative was pretty spot on
