nah Weeknd hook was much needed. I think from the very beginning that was who Kanye was imagining on the hook but didn't realize it yet.

I do miss the Wave Runner verse tho. Floated a lot better on it. Drums were a bit better too. I get why the back instrumental was changed to the organ sound tho. Lil Baby verse not great, but at least it feels thematically on point. Thug, Ty Dolla, Big Sean, all of them had no idea what to do with the song lol.

First listening party felt like the song was ruined, this time feels like the song is at least as good if not better than the leaks.

I didn’t think it could have gotten THIS good but it’s an amazing song the way it is now and that’s coming from someone that loved the Ant hook with the Wave Runners verse.

Weeknd sounded fantastic sonically but the one with ant felt a lot more intimate and personal to the aesthetic kanye was going for. i also don't really get the lil baby addition (no hate - just seems out of place). I feel like if he kept the weeknd and mixed it with the ant-clemons and kind of changed the structure of the song so the weeknd's vocals gradually came in alongside ant's to add sonic progression it may have been one the best songs he's ever made. might have to make that edit myself tbh
