I think the problem was it was the beginning of “mcu fatigue”

For me it was Iron Man and The Avengers 2012 that got me slightly interested, but then GOTG and Winter Soldier got me fully on board all the way to Endgame

I think a lot of mcu fans still didn’t really understand what was going on with the infinity stones at the time

So the way they set up vision and thor’s dream sequence in the cave didn’t make sense for them until more movies came out

GotG is where the MCU peaked for me personally. I’m glad you’re enjoying them so much OP

My problem with it is that it felt like it only served to set up more movies instead of another proper team up

That’s my problem with a lot of the Marvel movies and shows tbh
most recently Loki s\*\*\* was like a trailer for this marvel phase and possible season 2 I still love them to bits and I’m grateful that I get to witness their greatness

On paper an AI who was made for peace determining the only way for that to happen is to get rid of the avengers. It sounds interesting but this film somehow fails to live up to that interesting premise. Ultron was an interesting as f*** character just idk… something fell flat about him….. maybe it’s was because HIS FIGHTS SUCKED ASS!!!

Speaking of fights. This film has had the best fight in all of the MCU so far. That was iron man vs hulk. God that fight was so f***ing good and it lasted so long. The cgi budget looked f***ing insane, buildings blowing up and s***. God that was f***ing awesome. I thought they could carry that on with the final fight… but Ultron goes “here’s everyhting I got” and that fight lasts a total of like 1 minute then the next 20 minutes they fight the scraps.

Also, the twins fell flat for me, wasn’t really interested in them at all. But Vision seems cool as f***, and he has an infinity stone so thanos gonna be after them. Also that post credits scene thanos gonna be after them all!!!

But again seeing all these characters from all these movies meet up is just the coolest thing and I can’t really hate, the whole movie goes to character to character so I’m never really bored, which is why I still very much enjoyed this film. Just the ending it felt like they ran out of the CGI budget lmfao that whole final fight was anticlimactic af.

Disagree. The final battle sucked! (Not really but wasn’t as crazy as the avengers 1 final battle). Was cool for 2 minutes when all the bots and s*** were after them and they were all fighting together then randomly Ultron runs out of bots like where did they all go. Disney ran out of CGI budget mid battle

The GOAT James Spader as Ultron was amazing

Dudes acting was great. I loved the character

The final fight in 1 is better than 2 but the subway train fight, IM v Hulk, the fight on the ship with Klaw, introducing Wanda, introducing Vision….. and as much as I like Loki, Ultron is just a better villain IMO
