Just finished Spider-Man 1

Unironcially a great movie

Even though the movie is full of cringe early 2000’s acting, man all these characters are likable. The plot in this movie is absolutely fantastic. The characters, Simmons and Defoe kill it as Jaminson and the globlin. Franco is also great in this movie.

Man I just don’t hate anything about this movie but I can’t help laughing at tons of these scenes cause of all the memes like when Ben dies I just think of the Peter crying meme

Fam this s*** is unironcially better than all of the MCU origin films. Like if I were to rate this I’d prob say 8.5. this movie is just great all around idk how you could hate this film.

Spider-Man 1 is better than most if not all of the MCU imo. The acting isn’t cheesy, it’s just played straight and not ironically detached like most of the Disney produced films. Raimi embraces camp but balances it with the great character drama. It’s also just visually wonderful, some great action sequences with so much life in every shot. 2 is the better film overall but I honestly even like 3 as much if not more than the first one.

I never understood the hype about winter soldier. That movie is so flat to me. I feel the same way about Civil War. The Russo’s aren’t really compelling directors. There’s some decent action for sure but that thing looks like a parking lot.

iron man 1 is also pretty good as well. the MCU was actually a lot better before it became the universe it is now

Soundtrack is also much better. a lot of the marvel movies have terrible or meager soundtracks... it really took infinity war down a peg.

They should be taking cues from DC - even though their films are usually not that great their soundtrack game is exquisite with hans zimmer and them

THAT MOVIE WAS HYPE AS F*** F*** ANY HATERS.

Where else can you get like 10+ super hero’s all fighting each other at once. Man that airport scene was a scene to be remembered. Man they introduced black panther hes hype af. Then they introduced Spider-Man in the same film!!!!!! Fam you can’t beat that s***. Man seeing them all fight was one of the craziest s*** I’ve ever seen I just couldn’t stop smiling.

Then the Howard stark reveal iron man freaked the f*** out and didn’t listen to no reason. That final fight between cap and iron man was something else

Ok enough gloating about the film. The Villain sucked hard and did absolutely nothing for me this film. Bro was just there but whatever. And the plot was inferior to winter soldier. But man I can overlook all that s***. This was the craziest MCU film so far, has the best fights and everyone on screen (minus hulk for some weird reason).

Official rating: 9/10
