Personally i prefer more laser-focused Ye projects thats why these are both in my bottom third of his disco. But both are still amazing albums with standout tracks all over

Yup and I feel that is all those two albums are missing. Too much bloat taking away from the peaks and not adding much too the dynamic.

I agree trimming some of the fat would benefit both albums but still like the final (messy) product in both cases. I actually wouldnt change a thing in retrospect.....Ye's discography really GOAT man

I feel similar about Donda in relation to donda 2 as I do DLDT and CLB. Take those two projects in each artists case and combine the good, remove the fat and you get something special.
