Mac seemed like such a chill dude. I know we goin thru a d*** epidemic and mac is from where u would expect to be hit hard and then he moved to a place where it’s no longer an epidemic. Just part of the lifestyle.

I’m not against d*** use. If anything, I would have a problem with the demands this society puts on us and how it’s ran before I get mad at someone for self medicating.

Despite all the signs, mac had a smile that made u think he was well balanced.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of his direction tho I thought he had talent. Thought he tried to rush out of rap too soon and surrounded himself with the wrong ppl.

I wish mac surrounded himself with ysl type niggas instead of tde. His ability to rap well combined with his desire to sing would have worked more functionally in that camp.

Instead he went the route of critic bait music. I don’t think that was good for his habits. LA too fake. Bunch of ppl pretending they not addicts with the same problems those in middle America face.

Atlanta at least honest about it’s heroin addiction. I think it’s more therapeutic. Mac miller had the talent to be a new age and even bigger Paul wall.

Doing heroin in new york is unique. Doing it in LA is pretending your addiction is more functional than it is. Iykyk.

Juice hit me really hard. Thought the black and white video was the corniest thing I ever saw. That’s my favorite juice song tho. It doesn’t feel real because I thought he was a label made uzi/xxx clone when I first saw him. Then I realize he’s his own nigga and more talented than most.

He didn’t make me miss x any less, and as time went by it seemed like less and less of a bad thing. Then he died just the way he said he would. Doesn’t feel real.

Yeah of my friends from high school passed away a few days before Mac, was a rough time

Celebrity deaths rarely bother me but Mac’s hit different. Kids was one of the first mixtapes I ever downloaded in 2011. Watched him grow almost to a household name. Just glad I got to see him when he was still around.

  • May 8, 2020

X and Pop hit different to me. Nothing more tragic than having a young life ripped away by another human being. Evil world we live in
