Partly because i feel like NBA sound is more tied to where he from than Wayne sound was.. but also just because NBA music and personality is not even close to Weezy in his prime
Wayne music was like that at first too, he had to make music with New York rappers for everyone to fully accept him, YB has time his fanbase grows daily he’s only 21 Wayne didn’t hit his prime til around 25

YB is quite talented and the amount of hunger is insane on this album. Problem is just like early Wayne (pre-C1 days) the music feels little one dimensional and the sound is getting dragged out, imo he needs to expand his sound style.
With his next release I want him to work with different producers and also experiment with his rapping
