People who dont know the first thing about rap know who Wayne is.

Tried to get into him plenty of times but he’s not for me. His music is raw emotion which is the one thing I really like about it but I can’t get with the generic trap beats and basic raps. No bars, metaphors, or intricate rhyme schemes to keep me interested (like lil baby for example). Very narrow and cliche subject matter (even tho it’s really him telling his story which I get, but I been hearing rappers tell their story about the streets for decades now so that’s not enough to keep me engaged) It’s like this generation is hell bent on doing the bare minimum. I don’t understand it.

He’s not a 10th the rapper Wayne is. Wayne is a natural talent and bonafide genius. One of the most gifted and unique rappers to ever bless the mic. Stop it.
