drinkin can cause stupid decisions that lead to injuries trauma or death

I don't even drink, the point I was making is there's literally a million other things you can rap about besides being hooked on pills.

    look at dis

They used to smoke dust and PCP back in the day u bozo

So go smoke some if you're trying to suggest that music was any better for the youth then what I'm talking about.. Just because the genre was different didn't make that s*** any less stupid.

its possible to listen to " d***" music and not do the d****

for sure, but it's also possible to start taking them because it sounds cool and then use that music to create a feedback loop telling you it's ok

  • OP just stick with straightedge bands. There are a good amount of them out there.

White people love listening to young black men rap about destroying themselves and their community OP
    It’s too late

tbh about half the lean/pill heads I've met are white, the other half are black.

gotta be smarter than the music/musician. Just cuz I'm listening to Chief Keef, that doesn't mean I'm gonna go on a shooting spree. Just cuz I'm listening to, idk, Wayne, doesn't mean I'm gonna go do a s*** ton of d**** just cuz he said he's doing it & he feels awesome.

this why instrumental music is the best

it's easy to say that, but at 15 most people don't have a true sense of self or a fundamental understanding of the long term consequences of bad decisions.

I care because I think most people are inherently good (even most d*** addicts). And it's a real f***ing shame to see them become slaves to things that eat them alive.

well, idk, Imo, in a perfect scenario, that falls on the guardian of the 15 year old. Obviously some of them have no guardians, and that's unfortunate. I don't think its on the rappers to raise peoples kids.

Of course I have.. I don't think my post ever referenced cocaine or it's derivatives though. I'm talking about opiates and barbiturates.

It is though, during teen years most kids go through a phase where they hate there parents. So even the best intending guardians will have little impact on there children's belief system at that young and highly impressionable age.
