Oh i didn't get that from the post at all
But yeah hyping up a game before it's released is always something that can go wrong
TLOU2 is miles better than Cyberpunk, that's pretty obvious, it's a technical masterpiece, i didn't like the story decision they made (making it non-chronological). It was an original and fresh idea for videogames, which is nice, especially for such a big title, sadly it didn't really work for me

If you don’t like one of those games it’s likely you wouldn’t like the others for the same reasons..

actually releasing a somewhat polished game spares you a TON of criticism. look at games like spiderman, horizon, uncharted 4, etc. All ass games but at least they run well so they satisfy most people.
Haven't finished uncharted but spiderman and horizon are good games lol

I bought them both and played them both back to back and it was probably the most gratifying and engrossing video game story expedition I’d ever been on

I definitely was thrown off by it.
It works more on a second play through but even then it kinda makes the flow and momentum of the game super long and spaced out. It’s a confident and ballsy way of telling this long as story but I agree it’s a little weird at times

The last of us 2 took over al of the other game awards COMBINED
it also includes the highest players choice awards too
