LOU2 got the same amount of hate as Cyberpunk. If it wasn't a mess on console it'll be in the exact same predicament.
Matter fact, it'd be loved by critics and players if it released playable and stable on console.

Sony literally took cyber off of PSN. That is embarrassing on their part and something they apparently really hated having to do.
TLOU2 was just a story decision a lot of people hated and couldn’t get past which is okay. I bet people who just buy games and play them casually had no idea of the backlash.

And you massively missed on why you think TLOU2 was hated. It got hate from four separate groups... those that think the game isn’t actually good, those that didn’t like fella getting mirked, the weirdo “omg what is this sjw crap” losers, and the community that felt it was trans torture p*** for the sake of winning awards and critical acclaim.
Cyberpunk on PC has garnered massive praise from critics on all fronts and in the visual department DF called it the best looking game they’ve ever saw. Now if that was transferred to console instead of what we got the reaction for this game would have been completely different. Keep up nigga.

People don’t even like Abby in general so I think it would’ve gotten the same reception. They were mad they were forced to play as her.

I kinda think some of those 4 groups that didn’t like it stem from Abby in general still.
If the game was just a Joel story with Ellie, and there’s a scene where he tortures someone who did to him what Joel did to Abby
I think people would just be like ‘damn that Joel scene is so rough...he’s such a badass, that scene is so hard to watch but man the story is amazing’
Like if JOEL did that, they’d be more attached to the actions and there wouldn’t be any criticism that it’s award bait torture p***.
And if the same gameplay was in a fully Joel game, people would be able to realise the gameplay was amazing

If it was like that the hate wouldn’t be as high tbh, but the storyline would be different in that case.
I like the story somewhat of LOU already didn’t really care about Joel dying. I just don’t like it as a game. But I’ll say this those that actually liked the first as a game and hated this one would think differently if it played as you stated.
