I'm using Apple Music for the past five years now. But I'm always wondering why Apple do so little for this service. The design and user experience is the same since f***ing iTunes. I don't know why they don't come up with a nice streaming service. The artists radios always play the same songs over and over. When shuffling songs from a playlist, it skips if you want to go back to the previous song. The app looks horrible and out-dated, always freezes. Not to mention the ridiculous end of the year playlists and stats. It's so lazy lol

What you guys think? Am I wrong? Should I move to another service? Spotify is out of the question.

you should get an iPod classic and itunes and have your own library

I pay for youtube because of the ads and background play, not for the music

all my music is local and I download so many random albums I never listened to, then just shuffle them through iTunes on my phone

Shuffling on AM is horrid, with AI being a thing I honestly don’t know why they haven’t addressed it by now.

like it’s a perfectly fine service to find all music, easy to use local files, simple, effective layout

i suppose i’m not the person to use artist radios, playlists, etc, but tbh who gives a f*** about that s*** as long as u got the music you like

all i need is the music, don’t mess with the shuffle, and be easy to navigate/don’t be ugly

spotify does all that mostly but it’s pretty ugly and the shuffle just breaks sometimes

I download all my music on my phone I got like 3 iPhones just for this lol because Bluetooth really makes music muddy and I need it to be straight from the source true quality

ui seems to be ur main point of contention, so latter 3 or soulseek+bandcamp are the only other comparable options

currently on a free trial for napster which has proven unsatisfactory. other than that is qobuz which shows promise but will obviously not be as perfect due to lack of user funding
