why do some producers still use this version/ think its better
im aware about something about the step sequencer is different but i dont really see the advantage i guess
fl 11 workflow and ui changed a bit when it jumped to 12 and beyond. people stuck with it because it was familiar I guess. they should just use ableton

People don't like FL12?

yea but the way i see producers still use it and the way ppl talk about it gives it that feeling
i personally use fl 20
people use the old versions of FL? didnt know that. why?
edit: saw someone else explained it
Idk I feel like some mainstream producers are just too used to it (OZ/Boi-1da, etc.) so they don’t wanna change
But tbh I don’t get it cause the new updates in FL have really interesting features

yeah I have a midi but use my laptop keyboard more often. im more of an automation creator and ableton aligns with that. YouTube tutorials help curve the learning bit a lot easier

I just switched from 11 to 20
11 seems to have a less high pitched output, I think the default limiter is a little better on 11 maybe. Only thing I’ve noticed tbh

Yeah, the only thing that changed was the FL Version, otherwise all the equipment is the same. When I Open up projects from FL11 on FL20 it just sounds a little more shrill
i started using FL during 12 so i never felt the 11 era. but now i’m using FL 20 and idgaf works great for me. the ui on 11… kinda ugly imo
