I'm even really pissed about how s***ty my counselor was in high school
They rounded up me and the 5 others going to our uni and barely did s***
0 career talk at all. 0 preparation. I changed majors 3 or 4 times cause I just didn't know what was out there

your high school guidance counselors aren’t paid enough by their employer to deal with getting 300+ kids ready for college. they are paid to make schedules and reroute phone calls
