    Same man we gotta change..

Anybody else find it f***ed up that our generation is filled with mental illness

I’m not diagnosed with anything, never really thought i was doing bad enough to warrant therapy, but I read thru mental illness warning signs from time to time and I can’t help but feel like “holy s*** this is describing me” like depression, anxiety, adhd, more I can’t think of off the top of my head

But I know I’m not knowledgeable enough to say what I do or don’t have, and researching any kind of illnesses online can cause people to think they have it, so I just don’t know

Its just really weird how glorified it is too, like yes it’s okay to be anxious or depressed but the goal shouldn’t be to just accept it, it should always be to have a clearer healthy and more comfortable mental state

I wonder how much money therapists and the like have made off people self diagnosing from these descriptions. If you catch my cynical implication ;)

well yes because people with mental illness didn't survive long enough. that's why it's so prominent now
