He’s not “excited to come to me about new music”.. I made it pretty clear that he makes assumptions about the kind of music I listen to because I look like an alt girl and he shoves it down my throat literally rapping it at me

But if I try to show him music he disregards it because it doesn’t align with what he thinks I would listen to

We live in a world where one judges a book by its cover and unfortunately you can’t do anything about it. Best course of action is to go along and pretend you enjoy the music, no matter how sucky it sounds. You sound like a smart person anyway and I understand your point of view well. You remind me of one of my female friends who also appears generic but listens to all sorts of underground rap.

By any chance I’m wondering you’d prefer something like this instead, just know one day if we run into each other I’d play this in the car, because it passes the whippability test.

But even s*** like the 2nd song he tries to get me to listen to, like he’ll come up and start rapping songs in full to me while they play on his phone and I just sit there like

Like I can understand that with someone like Lone or Yeat but like even Carti’s older stuff or some detroit rap he just doesn’t say anything

But then expects me to hear MGK rip off #48392 and go

Idk man I’m ranting but it really boils down to taste I guess but idk how you could hear those 2 songs and add them to your library
