What's your feelings on the Bible verses about piercings? I'm not challenging you or saying you should have a problem with them because of what the Bible says, but I know you're religious so I'm curious about your perspective

somewhat akin to the apparent condemnation of homosexuality within the Old Testament, piercings being forbidden seems to be strictly for the Israelites (as they were worshipping a pagan God) it is also worthy to note that Jesus within the New Testament essentially rolled out an entirely new law for which everyone could follow (The Ten Commandments)

so tl;dr: the Bible doesn’t specifically address piercings anywhere but the Old Testament, it’s commonly considered a good swath of those laws only apply to the Israelites due to them participating in a lot of those acts as an offering of worship to a false God
