had the whole team laughing besides me one the only black person though
You gotta start joking about their personal lives bro cut deep, sure they can say stuff about ur race but you can talk about their crack baby status or whatever it might be
have been more reserved w/ my post
what happened itt?
give me a run down. also welcome back bro
YES!
Thats exactly how it should work!
It doesnt tho. Why tell someone in the work place that a comment offended u, when u can report them instead, and take their hours? Cuz thats the world we live in now. Thanks pc babies.
Intent can often be proven using context and track record... Not always. But even the court system recognizes intent as being very important, and its always a goal to prove intent.
Its a lot harder to prove intent tho, when everyones a manipulative f***in b****. The libs are falling apart because of this, and ive been calling it for a goddamn decade. Was obviously gonna happen.
Ill put it like this. U dont want someone like me, to act like the manipulative f***s that are winning on this planet rn.... If someone is constantly harrassing u because of ur race, u at least know that theyre a piece of s***... What exactly do ppl want, to not be able to f***in tell who is gonna f*** them over?
Ok i think i get u now, u dont really have a problem with people getting offended about stuff in general, its specifically the people who get hysterical over stuff that offends them even if minor or unintended?
I get that and do agree completely, although workplace wise i kinda think the reporting vs discussing depends on context. Depending on what was said, who said, and the personality of the reporter i can understand why some people would feel more comfortable going to management rather than confronting/ discussing directly with the person who offended then (and believe they have the right to do that).
Interestingly re intent, equality laws here in the UK actually dont view that as particularly important - some consideration is given to it in discrimination type lawsuits, but proving that you didn’t intend ur actions to have a specific effect wouldnt necessarily win u the case
