You could consider looking into a start-up before you delve into self employment: the flexibility and salary would be good, plus you could meet like minded people to build with
Basically freelancing at this point100% correct
They were pretty flexible, I just got to a point where I couldn’t tolerate doing any work at all because it was so utterly meaningless and pointless, just busy work and bullshit politics to give the impression of progress being made.
I’ve heard that advice about joining a early stage startup. I’ll try it if my own stunt fails within the next 6 months.

Bo CeephusI don't think you understand how many people feel the exact same way you do but they're making $200k less..
Worst case scenario. I work 2 years and then quit with quite a bit saved up and I can use that to move to something much less stressful.
But the skillset is what really matters to me.Could you teach me? I would be very happy to learn from someone who's actually been in that kind of situation as they have more insight than most.
