appreciate that; my dad still trying to run his company when he’s down and out too

and yeah, my point to OP wasn’t that she wouldn’t ever have free time but that she shouldn’t have the idea that it’d be more liberating or less stressful than a 9–5 just because she doesn’t have a boss. if she’s ready to put that extra time and effort in to get and keep things running, more power to her. anyone that works that hard deserves that win.

me personally, i’m cooling with my at-home job because i don’t have a huge issue working for someone else if they treat me fairly

I’m not passionate about my job either but I stick with it. I make more than 250k and work less than 40 hrs a week tho

To me a job just makes you money. Idc about being passionate about stuff. Only thing I’m passionate about is not working lol

What's so insidious about the system we have going on, is that it genuinely mentally hurts you to continue to do and it feels inescapable. Until it eventually convinces you the only way out is to do what's being done to you to other people. It's f***ing disgusting.
