    A Mad Ass Nigga

Be honest, do y’all like Drake for his music or do y’all like him because he’s popular? Y’all hype up his popularity more than the music.

I liked Drizzy before he was the biggest artist in the game . Been listening since so far gone . Btw go listen to closer to my dreams :

Not at all yall jus cnt read

I clearly stated this is the equivalent of the same lists you’ll see from people saying guys like big L, mf doom, nas etc

Yes I included em, wayne, jay and 3 stacks but not cus of their musical success or skill but because of their technical rapping ability success

    IT WAS VERY CLEAR

U drake fans just saw the word “list” and lost all your brain functions

Brave doesn't realize that everybodies style came from lil kim and gangsta boo..

This argument can be used to say Drake isn’t influential because of 808s

You’re going into music bro i agree but not what im talking about

It’s hard to draw the line cus most rappers overlap but if yr talking about speaker knockers then in my mind yr in the same dept as guys like future etc. It’s less their actual rapping ability fundamentals and moreso what they did with song melodies and production

nah Soulja has nothing to do with Chicago blowing blowing up. Let’s not give him credit for that. King Louie and Sosa did that on their own.

i feel like if y'all are gonna keep up this Drake fan/stan stuff then y'all should take specific note of who's who. i am not that. i keep things very unbiased on this forum.

i can read just fine. you changed the title from most influential to most skilled. two descriptors that aren't synonymous whatsoever. surely that would make some of the responses in here look a bit odd to someone entering the thread late.

but carry on with your vendetta against the guy. plenty of users on this site here to back you up whenever you need it lol

About Drake influence; Drake’s r&b influence is way more apparent than his rap influence stylistically. It’s weird how rap fans feel like they have to undermine that in order to prop him up as a rapper, especially when they don’t have to - he made 2010s rappers wanna sing their own hooks!

Every trendy r&b dude sounds like Drake or The Weeknd and every trendy female r&b girl sounds like a mix between Drake Jhene and Chris

I can concede one word in the title could be misread but fam the OP was very clear what the criteria for the list was and still a bunch of people were saying drake

Crazy how no travis stans mentioned him once cus going by the metric u claim drake fans thought this was about shouldnt travis and future and a bunch of others stans been in here mentioning them

Almost like its a drake stan problem, not saying yr one!
