Same, ive been listening to KLEP too. KLEP was like unknown ish, OD was like "real" underground ish & still a hardcore mixtape, & s.80 was basically an album.

He was def statting to go with OD & is a popular tape on sites like Mixtape Monkey & Datpiff. People that paid attention to actual underground & online mixtapes at the time def knows, & Michael Jordan (for mainstream) & Heart pt.2 for "real hiphop" off of it was pretty big songs for it.

And lets not forget all the loosies, freestyles & skits him n TDE used to from OD to GKMC. And the C3 remix tape.

But yeah, mans was really grinding & really popping. People like Dre n Drake just catapulted the success faster, but he was already on his way & caught their attention, not the other way around.

Really glad i got to see him from damn near the beginning. Really special & crazy af. I always knew he'd be huge, but i would have bever guest 2nd Rapper in the world & #1 from America huge.
