It started as a MERN stack but I ended up using MongoDB Atlas as a serverless backend because that was just a lot easier for me to understand and learn as someone that didn't know what they were doing.

I think there's a Weezy stan going around and attacking certain albums. Illmatic lost to like five Wayne albums in a row. Saw it happen on a couple other albums that were at the top as well

Initially I was going to include a feature that would allow you to pin an album and rank other albums against it, but didn't for this exact reason. Makes it too easy for people to manipulate the rankings

I used codecademy and that ended up being a great place to start. Paid for a month of their pro subscription. I think it was like $40? Then just watched a bunch of YouTube videos. If you already know JS then React should be pretty easy
