My favorite game in the series and loved by millions. Without a doubt I'd say it's probably the clear 2nd most favorite behind 7. Or maybe it's not, I know both 8 and 9 are loved like crazy. The series just hasn't been the same since 10 even if the games have had many great qualities about them. Idk if I'd keep it turned based or not...I just really love the story, characters and all the bosses

I don’t think a huge budget is required for a 9 remake to be a hit amongst fans - that lies in the the creative direction. IX is also kind of a niche title compared to VII and X

X is a blockbuster tho. A remake would absolutely benefit from a massive budget imo
