I spent $18 for running shoes on eBay because I'm not trying to dish out $100-$120. Your friendly KTT2 boomer is trying to level up his running stamina and lose some weight training to run a half marathon.

I'm going to wash them and clean them up for sure but my wife said that it was weird and was kind of grossed out.

Is she overreacting or am I tripping for doing this in the first place? Keep in mind that these shoes were once ~$150.
