I get super stressed and annoyed over things that other people do/out of my control. I can't seem to let things go easily. Is there anyway to learn to control this better?

It especially happens when I see things I don't like going on.

Also try the box breath Exercise method Whenever you get mad( inhale for 4 seconds, hold breath for 4seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, hold breath for 4 seconds and repeat). Navy seals use this to calm themselves down quickly.

Breathwork is OP. 4-7-8 breathing also blessed. 4 in, 7 hold, 8 out.

How often do you get to spend time outside?

How often do you get to spend time in quiet environments/spaces esp those without screens?

Do you have people you can go back and forth with and not just vent but work through your problems with (friends - irl, phone, online, spouse, professional etc)?

    1. Not too much, definitely need to do more.

    2. All the time.

    3. Yeah I have a wife, but mostly I feel like I hold my breath and have anger problems.

Glad you got a lot of time away from electronics and with quiet, that's huge and I think incorporating some of the breathwork stuff @plants and @youngtubesteak2 were talking about could be huge and really build on the good foundation you have there.

Good that you're with spending more time outside, earth is the most incredible thing that we have any connection to imo and just being with it and embracing it can do so much for us individually and as a species. I think I remember you mentioning you still live in the Northeast (not MA tho ) so please take advantage of what I'm sure is going to be a great fall.

Word - I remember you mentioning you have a wife and that's good but I phrased the question the way I did because I think it's important to recognize that just because you're close with someone doesn't necessarily mean a) you're doing what you should be to communicate what you need and how they can help or b) that they're even equipped to help. I deal with a lot of life threatening situations and b) is something I've had to grapple with because due to the nature and intensity of what I deal with most of my family and friends aren't able to handle even hearing about it and professionals aren't equipped either so I've had to find ways to talk about the less intense 'infrastructure' of those problems if that makes sense - things that people can help me with that put me in a better situation to work through my problems.

Thank you for the right up. Im gonna try to get more away from "current affairs/news" too much overstimulation really messed with my mind I think. I really have not been able to have much bliss/peace at all. Things are very stressful for me.

Also that thing that you just said, true. getting outside is definitely a fix. Thanks. I hope you're doing well too bro.

    I got you

I don't know if this would be helpful but maybe you could post in here as you try things to get a handle on this

Not just as some kind of accountability thing but to continue bouncing ideas and frustrations off of others, I know I'd be happy to.

I'm not well at all and things are particularly dangerous right now but this isn't anything new for me once I get away from the details and take note of how dangerous and debilitating the last decade has been for me so I'm just trying my best to stay on earth through this particular storm until I can get to a place when I can start improving my situation. Thank you for the well wishes
