therapists don’t really do it for me. it feels disingenuous, especially having to pay someone to listen
They have different options like groups and just different styles of therapist bro. U really shouldn’t just brush off actual medical professionals in favor of just posting in Ktt threads. Eating disorders are very serious

Brah I feel that same way when I’m stressed. Normally I couldn’t finish a 15 piece from wing stop, I can barely finish 10 but when I’m stressed tf out I can eat like I’m high or some.
Happening to me also man. S*** sucks and it's even worse because I've been gaining weight and it shows in my face and stomach.
i remember when i spent like $100 on chick fil a and the driver was like “you and your friends must be hungry” and i was like “yeah”
this is really affecting my grades too
anytime i get nervous doing hw i just eat and don’t do the hw. i keep skipping classes to go home and eat

I think the best thing to do is to go to Costco or something and just buy small snacks to eat throughout the day like cashews, nuts, popcorn. (light stuff) instead of wasting money on fast food. Tbh, one reason I stay away from fast food is it like the more I eat it the more I want it. Like I remember I once went months without eating it and I ate it again after and thought it was disgusting

i used to try to eat so much of something that it made it seem disgusting, but that doesn’t work for me anymore
i don’t really even eat like “fast food” like mcdonalds and stuff. mostly like chain restaurants through doordash or uber eats. it just tastes too good. i eat throughout the day. i don’t even feel hungry. i feel full most of the time, but i get cravings any time i get anxious. i think it’s just because of how readily available it is and the fact i’ve never had this much disposable income before

I aint gonna judge, I hope you can get ot together soon though. The main thing is to at least eat nutritious foods on top. A little bit of fruit, good amount of veg and high fibre foods will take you a long way.
