all three have dropped arguably their best projects to date and are at their creative peaks rn (esp impressive for bey considering she’s 20+ years into her career). at this point there’s no denying all three won this year.

MJ was the King of Pop because his hits were unescapable, his voice literally defined a decade plus of Music as a whole. I love The Weeknd but he's simply not that for his generation. he's 'just' an artist who makes great music and visuals, and he makes hit records. but not the same
