For me the algorithm and all that just turned me off of Instagram, and it’s starting to turn me off of twitter and Reddit too
thanks! yeah i’ve been getting pretty disenfranchised with social media for a few years now. i hate the aggressive algorithms and targeted ads, also it has the potential to make you feel horrible about yourself if you are susceptible to comparing yourself against others

if you hit the algorithm properly you’ll start seeing s*** that actually aligns with your interests, it almost becomes like a personal newspaper of sorts, pretty cool tbh
thanks! yeah that’s the plan now that i have it more tailored to productive things that interest me. definitely see the usefulness of it when it’s used like this!
