That's why you gotta voice your concerns to the lawyer before going all in, but keep in mind this is how lawyers are though. They're kind of cryptic and never seem that helpful until it goes to court (which is an extremely lengthy period of time). Like for example, my sister had to hire a lawyer for custody since her deadbeat baby daddy's girlfriend wanted their kids. The lawyer she hired is one of the best in the state apparently, but she's so distant and never seems like much help at all, let alone is hard to get in contact with a lot of times since her case loads must be quite a lot. That is until the court cases come around and then all of a sudden it's like she's very helpful. Point being is that, it's just how lawyers are in general. To them your just another case, but as long as you keep paying them they'll usually come in clutch during the cases. It's just important though that make sure to gather evidence to send them otherwise they can't build a strong case. Did the lawyer ask you if you wanted to kept them on retainer? Plus, if you're unsure of your lawyer, it's okay to have options as well. Are you only calling local lawyers connected to your city or town?

This situation is still going on. The manager was JUST speaking to another employee about me “manning up” and “setting me straight” she really won’t stop despite my HR reports. So since she wants to recruit people to insult me then I will respond in a reciprocal way.
