When I first heard it my initial reaction was
After sitting with it (and taking out and adding a few songs), this might be a top 3 Drake album.
Virginia Beach is amazing
The run of Calling For You (without the skit), Fear of Heights. Daylight, First Person Shooter, IDGAF (with Yeat's last verse removed) f***ing bangs!
Bahamas Promises (which I initially hated) is a reaaaaally good song
I added in Neatly which is a goat song of course
From there you got 7969 (No Snoop), Tried Our Best, Drew A Picasso which is another amazing run
I added in I'm The Problem which should've been on the album
After that we fall into Members Only and Vital (another song I added), What Would Pluto Do, All The Parties, 8pm.
Closing out the album is Rich Baby Daddy (girl love it ), At The Gates, Another Late Night (sleeper song), Away From Home (Forgotten Remix), and Polar Opposites
This album was just so polarizing and wasn't what we expected Drake to come with, which caused the initial shock.
Overall, great album (with a few modifications).
This ain't FAT D
This is a playlist you made
The only songs I cut were Amen, Slime You Out, Gently, and the 2 interludes and replaced them with much stronger songs that better suit the album
The songs that were cut aren't essential songs to the album
Were u
It’s a great album once you add and remove multiple songs and complete this other list of changes

When you finally force yourself to like this mediocre album, it will become the greatest album of all time

Bro just executively produced a new album
Artists should just give us the tracks and let us curate our own albums
Artists should just give us the tracks and let us curate our own albums
thats what its moving towards in the streaming era tbh
artists will slowly move the needle to 30-track albums (some have already done this) and you decide which songs you wanna download
Morgan Wallen got a 36 track album and that dominated the charts this year like 16 weeks at #1 (12 weeks in a row, the other 4 weeks were non-consecutive), and fans just decided what they wanted to listen to
think its only in hiphop where this is looked down upon cus fans want "concise" and "themed" albums, yet those same "concise" and "themed" albums get no love and no streams, produce less money than the playlist-style albums and then those artists get shelved by their label
