Ice is an obvious label plant and her payola goes outside radio play (booking a Taylor Swift collab with 1 hit total to her name, being at the MET Gala with absolutely zero fashion influence, etc). She has consistently got into industry spaces and opportunities with no credentials lmao.

But for as much as y'all clown Iggy/Cardi/etc and anyone a threat to Nicki about talent it's weird y'all suddenly are Ice stans and down with her being the protege lmao. It shows that its all convenience of the moment with what matters to y'all.

I was skeptical on her and called out her lack of skill months before Nicki ever claimed her.

Oh, Cardi and her fans definitely as motive-based too. There's no denying that.

However they never became complete hypocrites in the process lmao. Cardi as we all know is an average rapper talent wise, and never went on rants about rappers benefitting from payola, aesthetics, and opportunism instead of raw talent.

Nicki on the other hand did, only to run and completely rebrand with a 3/10 rapper by the name of Ice Spice who benefits from all that.

You would think with how consistent she and her fans were about her talent/skill and that being her brand she would actually run behind some real talent.

Ole girl went around for years complaining about the women they tried to pit against her weren't real lyricists, didn't have raw talent, and were all just industry plants with agendas behind them.

Then now and is tooting the most basic, of-the-moment, non-charismatic, average rapper as the heir to her throne.

Kind of like when she went on rants about white rappers, blackfishing, etc then turned around and sat on live defending Jesy Nelson. Just stands for nothing. 😭
