Like all the lyrics boasting about his sales and how much hits he has, gets a lil overbearing at times. Like talking your s*** is one thing but it kinda gets to the point where its like he's breaking the 4th wall in a weird way.

You be talking like Drake is some street nigga

  • posted in the album thread but the last rap album this person has reviewed before this is danny brown from 2019

other than that it's just a couple rap albums from before 2000 where they just pick a fan favorite album and praise it. in the last 10 years this guy has reviewed maybe 4 or 5 actual rap albums

and every single time he goes on tangents about the artist personally while pushing the music itself to the background. dude is a bozo

For context, they barely rated TFO any higher.

They gave Bully a lower score than Vultures 2.

And they gave The Death Of Slim Shady the same score.

Usually he would space his albums out with the rnb cuts but since he dropped 3 albums and this one was straight rap it gets a lil repetitive on that front.

I'm more interested in the current split going on in the Drake fanbase between "Old Drake" fans and "New Drake" fans.

Been a long time coming and I've been seeing it growing over the weekend across social media.

pitchfork are bad for hip hop either way, the artist(s) you're talking about don't get good scores from them either

He rapped for a bunch of Aussie cacs exclusively in 2025.

I miss the old Aubrey, straight from the 'Go Aubrey
Chop up the soul Aubrey, set on his goals Aubrey
I hate the new Aubrey, the bad mood Aubrey
The always rude Aubrey, spaz in the news Aubrey

My fav part of the Troy Ave Stan character is that he's tuned into the hood but all they listen to is Drake

  • U can tell they dont rly b tapped in cus the ceiling for music is so high now and there are artists who reach it but they only get like 6k plays on soundcloud per song

Drake is so mainstream his music isnt very inspiring so i respect the score
