Federal loans don't go to your bank account. You can't just keep saying "I can just take out a $10K loan" because that s*** isn't going to you anyways. It goes directly to the school.

They’re talking about federal loans in which the only way that you might see any of that cash is if your tuition comes out to be lower than what you’re given per semester. The school you go to would give you a check not the government. Even then, the school won’t use the money if you don’t sign up for classes. It would just sit there. Once the school uses the money, there is a federal borrower site that you have to use to pay it back. Biden forgiving 10k would just wipe that out. You don’t get anything back.
