Dune took me 3 watches to fully grasp and feel immersed and it was amazing

but from first watch BR2049 I was actually in another world. I probably rewinded like 20 times just tryna see certain shots again.

BR2049 looks great but the plot is ass until Harrison shows up. Feels like a tech demo or something.

Its minimal but definitely not ass

I honestly liked the first half way more before he runs into Harrison. whole thing still good though.

I can dig "minimal" and subtle plots but this all fell flat for me tbh

Dune is only part 1 of the story though so it's not really a fair comparison.

personally thought it was brilliant though and better then 2049 anyway, but there's A LOT more to come from the future films
