God wants us putting pieces of Kenyan giraffe s*** into Tupperware?

You expect me to believe that an all-knowing God wrote up a plan for this person to make the moose triple doodoo nugget jawn with the matching earrings?

I believe in something bigger than humans. But, I don't know about what's most commonly believed. Maybe this is a prison planet and all of the other entities didn't wanna put up with us anymore. They come down to observe with UFOs and report back like

"Yeah, command, I don't think they'll be ready to integrate anytime soon. They're still playing with turds down there."

Everything goes according to God's allowance but NOT His will. If everything goes according to God's will that nullifies the purpose of life because God didn't want Adam and Eve to bite that apple but He allowed it, same goes for everything good/bad in our world. Not necessarily His will but always something that He allowed to happen.

Thus why in the famous Christian prayer "Our Father who art in heaven" in Arabic we say "لتكن مشيئتك" which loosely translates to "Let Your will be done" because what human wants usually isn't the best outcome so we ask His will to be the one in control in our life as it's definitely better than ours

How often do you feel yourself wavering in your devotion?

It happens but way less frequent than before because of some personal events that I've witnessed throughout 2020 and 2021 which really made me grow firmer in my faith and hold onto religion more than ever. Whenever you find yourself losing faith I believe it's better to get in touch with other people than to read through it all alone because our hearts can be deceitful. Whenever I feel shaky I just go to Church and do service until the spark glows again, at church I always find a reminder that everything that I do, I do for a bigger purpose.

I believe that multiple things can have a basis in truth, and that there are things beyond our understanding. But, I'm not a devout anything. A lot of my family are Christian or Muslim, but the Black kind of Muslim. I had some wild s*** happen to me recently, and my dad told me it's because I don't go to church. That kind of stuff makes me not even wanna go to church to get what I can from it.

Your father's outlook is right in a way but also wrong.

It's a religious fact that the more disconnected you are from Church the more prone you are to the devil's ways and the easier you are to be led astray. This is where your dad's right.

But to think that every tribulation or bad event in your life is a direct result of you not being right with God is simply not true. God does not give earthly punishments, the world does. God's punishment is reserved for the day of Judgement where we shall all stand in unison awaiting our sentence. Anything else is a result of life and human nature where the things we take can be dished back to us in mysterious ways but still this is something that God allowed yet didn't necessarily want us to go through.

    As stated in James 1:13
"Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man"

    Neither tempteth he any man
