The preemptive assumption about album quality just leads me to believe people are going to rate albums a certain way without actually even forming their own opinion. I hope all three albums are excellent but only time will tell

Drake is obviously gonna have the most sales. I don’t think Kendrick challenges him unless he had a single like humble which was super mainstream a while before album launch.

Ye is not going close to them numbers wise but who cares. Kanye’s in music for the art at this point he’s richer then both of them combined y’all need to stop pocket watching celebs

Drake is the safest bet ofcourse but he’s been oversaturating the market for years now and this CLB rollout has been weird so idk how excited people really are for CLB

Kanye’s rollout has been weird too. If he would’ve dropped after any of the highly publicized listening events as planned (especially the 1st one) he would’ve did wild numbers but idk now. Plus a lot of people still hate him.

Kendrick is definitely the Dark horse sales wise. He pretty much ghosted the rap game for 3 years so his reemergence feels a lot more eventful and a lot of fans have been waiting for his return. At the same time him being gone this long could work against him since a lot of casuals have written him off.

Quality wise the safe bet is Kendrick but I’m predicting Drake pulls an upset with CLB. I like the Kendrick and Keem joint but I wasn’t as blown away by Kendrick’s verse as I typically am. He put on a hell of a show with his delivery and rhyme schemes but lyrically it wasn’t anything to write home about. Drake on the other hand has been SPITTING recently and, while his delivery isn’t as impressive as Kendrick’s, lyrically he has been on fire. Even that verse he had on the Brent joint was lyrically on point. Can’t wait to hear what he has in store.

I’m predicting Kanye to be in the middle or dead last quality wise. I’m sure Donda will be a spectacle and I can’t wait to hear it but I doubt a middle aged Kanye (as great as he is) can keep up with a Drake or a Kendrick who are both still in their prime.

I think all 3 are going to be fire tho. Probably 2/3 will be classic.

Wild Prediction: CLB and Donda both classic on the same day and Kenny follows up weeks later with a wildly commercially successful, solid, yet non classic album that ranks bottom tier in his discog (all of his albums are like 8.5 or higher so I think him dropping a solid 8 or lower is inevitable at some point)

Wouldn’t be surprised if Kendrick sold the most. Been away for several years and could easily have the Adele effect. At the very least he’ll be second in sales

Don’t know about drake. I could be in the minority but I’m kinda over waiting for CLB and my interest has died down considerably due to such an abysmal rollout. If many feel the same then he could easily fall to 2nd place in sales.

Quality is up in the air. All 3 artists have hits and misses. DONDA sounds great so Kanye had already set the bar. Still have to see what he actually submits though.
